This is a Japanese intricate robot. When placed on a tea tray, its gears start moving, and it autonomously heads towards the customer. It was active during the Edo period. The upright green tea, symbolizing good luck, delighted customers.

I painted it using ink and a brush, watercolors, and digitally.

It's a submission for a gallery commission proposal.
